Ahhh, Spain. You never cease to amaze me.
I was just going through the usual stuff today and something catched my eye: this white Mustang for sale in Seville. Muscle cars are a rarity in Europe, specially here. The mustang is no exception, and a modern mustang is like a damn unicorn (however, there's this guy who daily drives a red Shelby GT 500 around here).
Anyway, I clicked the link, and there it was. The first word: Replica .
A Mustang replica? Seriously!? Based on a Hyundai Coupé (Tiburon)? Really?
The first picture wasn't that terrible, I thought to myself: "well, that frontend looks nice". There are some rough edges here and there, but it gets a pass.
Then I saw this:
And the rear.. OMG the rear. DAT ASS.
For the kind of money that person paid for the car and its modification he could have imported the real deal. A real Ford Mustang mk5. With a V8. RWD.
Instead, they put tons of bondo on a korean FWD coupe and called it a day.

Exactly. It was very popular here. The ultimate pussy magnet in some "select" circles.

Why? That's like tarting up a Pontiac fiero to look like an Iroc Z. Just buy damn thing, they're neither rare nor expensive.

Exactly my point. Someone I know brought a C6 'vette over here. In the end, it wasn't that expensive.

I can see why they didn't import it. To be honest, to maintain a mustang to Spain costs more than cocaine, and most of them rust mainly on the plane.

Looks like it'd be the world-mustang test mule or something.
